National Science Day Celebrations – Jeeyar Gurukulam

Allampally, Jeeyar Gurukulam School located in remote forests of Adilabad celebrated National Science day. On this occasion, the school conducted a Mini Science Fair. Students displayed different exhibits which attracted everyone. Students showed how a boat runs using Air, causes of water pollution, how the vehicles run by remote control, vitamins and benefits, the procedure of generating electricity from water, environmental pollution, advantages and disadvantages of chemical pesticides, skeleton display, Scientific reasons to remove superstitious beliefs. Students showed their skills in Science fair. Principal Krishna appreciated students for their great job. In charge Mahendar, School staff and people from village participated in the science fair and applauded the students.
Yet Another Successful Chapter in the Annals of Allampally Tribal Areas

Its time to celebrate!! Two more students have now officially reached the shores of happiness by holding on to the vine – Jeeyar Gurukulam School extended by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Two ex-students K.Nagamani and M.Gangajala from Jeeyar Gurukulam School Allampally, have been selected as Agriculture Extension Officers (AEO). Allampally is located in a deep forest in Adilabad district.Observing the plight of the kids in those forests, HH Sri Chinnajeeayar Swamy established Jeeyar Gurukulam school in 2004. The two students – K.Nagamani and M.Gangajala completed their education from LKG to 10th grade in Jeeyar Gurukulam and pursued their higher studies in Agriculture. After securing a diploma in Agriculture, they are now studying Agriculture BSC. While studying, they applied for AEO post, took written tests, attended interviews and were selected. People from Allampally village and Gurukulam staff are rejoicing at their success and are very thankful to Swamiji for opening new avenues in their lives. Share This Story, Choose
Health Camp @ Jeeyar Gurukulam Allampalli

On 6th Feb 2017, Rashtriya Bala Shashtya Karyakram ( R B S K) conducted a health camp at Jeeyar Gurukulam Allampalli.520 students underwent various medical tests , out of that, 58 students who had some health problems were referred to district hospitals. Two students under the advice of senior doctors were referred to RIMS, Adilabad, for required surgery. One of these two Sri B Vinod , a 4th class student had a difficulty in walking since birth. He was successfully operated. Kum M Anayaja , a 2nd class girl was not able to speak as her tongue was stuck. But she can write very well. With the advice of specialists, we propose to give her all the medical treatment. She has special talents in listening, writing and studies. The head master, teachers, Dr. Nagaraju and Srilata, Sahidhar from (R B S K) actively conducted the camp.
Jeeyar Gurukulams Celebrate World Mathematics Day

World renowned Mathematician Srinivas Ramanujam’s birth anniversary was celebrated on 22nd Dec 2016 in Allampally and Birsaipeta Jeeyar Gurukulam Schools. The students did different kinds of Mathematics Projects and displayed them attractively in a exhibition. The displays included Tangram, easy way to learn tables, application of Mathematics in daily life, 2 dimension and 3 dimension shapes, multiple ways to solve problems. Students did a formation of Srinivas Ramanujam ‘s number “1729” and thus paid their tributes to the great Mathematician. The number “1729” was also displayed in variety of pictures, drawings, paintings, rangoli and flower decorations. This exhibition was attended by Utnuru Mandal’s Private educational establishment’s prinicpal Mr. Pulaji Baba, M.E.O, S. Prabhakar Rao JET (S) secratary. Impressed by the students’ skills and displays, their interactive skills, the oratory skills of students from 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade from English Medium, the guests applauded the efforts of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and felt indebted to HH’s efforts in a remote place such as this in improving the life of the tribals.
Providing Water Facility in Allampally – Adilabad

Lack of rains has affected the whole state. In Allampally, people are facing problems due to scarcity of drinking water. The school administration arranged for water tankers to help the community. The students, teachers along with villagers cleaned the open well for harvesting purposes. Now, with the incoming rains the water level increased in the open well.
US VTSEVA Youth Team With Jeeyar Gurukulam Students

The High school students (Kaustubh, Asha, Sachin, Saketh, Uttam) from various parts of US accompanied by Mr. Giri for their Summer Internship program in India came to Jeeyar Gurukulam. They had wonderful time in doing internship program at Colleges for Visually Challenged, Schools for Tribals and at JIMS Hospital. VT Seva is all about youth volunteering. The team started from JIVA Campus to Allampally on 18th July. On their way they picked up Sriman S Prabhakar Rao garu from Karimnagar and reached Allampally. The team participated in all programs starting from 4.45 am with Yoga and Pratah smaraniyam classes and their routine classes till 9.30 pm. They visited the classes and interacted extensively with the tribal students. Their mutual exchange of knowledge was very helpful and they built a rapport with them. The subjects included English vocabulary, science, social and maths. On 21st July, the students exhibited their talent in sports, games, pyramid forming and cultural programmes etc., which was thoroughly enjoyed by both. A meeting was convened in the evening with principal Sriman Giridhar , Teachers and JET(S) secretary Sriman S Prabhakar Rao garu. Everyone shared their messages. Sriman S Prabahakar Rao lauded the efforts of H H Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in making such good facilities made available to the tribal children for education. He emphasized that everyone there should take this opportunity and do their best to come up in life. The team along with Sri Giridhar garu visited Beersaipet on 22nd July and interacted with the students. They also participated in “Harita Haram” a tree plantation program and planted 200 saplings. About 500 saplings were planted in Allampally also. On 23rd they visited the surrounding places and met the parents of the students and started to Sriramanagaram in the evening. June Month Report of Jeeyar Gurukulam Beersaipeta

June 13th: School re-opened after summer vacation on June 13th. Students, teachers and staff members carried out Swachh Patashala – school cleanliness drive to make the school clean & tidy. June 13th to 16th : BADI BA:TA: The Gurukulam teachers visited the nearby villages i.e, Jeeyar nagar, Ram nagar, Kolamguda, Beersaipeta, Motiramguda, Dantanpally, Shambhuguda, Shivaguda, Chintaguda, Kottaguda to bring awareness to the parents of those absentee students about the importance of education for personal and society development and insisted on sending their children to the school. Rain water harvesting : A big pit was dug in the school premises to collect rain water for harvesting purposes. June 18th : The school executive committee held its first meeting in the new session and discussed about student/school development, upgrading existing standards etc. Teachers were allocated duties. Yoga practice: As a daily school curriculum, Pratha:smaraniyam slokas are chanted in the mornings and in the evenings Yoga exercises are carried out. June 21st : The International Yoga day was celebrated. Sriman S.Prabhakar rao, Secretary, JET(S) & Sri Urmilaji visited on that day, explained how the school has achieved the present standards in education and self discipline. An example how Jeeyar Institutions work as family..!

Jeeyar Gurukulam has successfully been providing education to the students since past 10+ years. 10th Grade – Board Examinations are also held and students are graduating with high grades. This year, one of the students, Rajitha had a paralysis attack. But seeing her strong will to complete her studies, Jeeyar Gurukulam teachers helped her by providing special home tutoring classes. Her classmates too helped her to study and write the exams. She attended the Board Exam and secured 8.3 on a scale of 10. She felt very happy and is extremely thankful to HH Sri Swamiji for all the extended support during the crisis.
Harithaharam Program by Our Beersaipet Students with Forest Range Officer

Beersaipet and Allampally schools participated in Haritha Haaram project. Forest range officer came to Beersaipet school and created awareness about environment protection. All students responded positively and promised to plant 10 trees each. The forest officer felt very encouraged and felt that if every child responds this way, the future of our country will be bright filled with greenery.
International Yoga Day Celebrated in Jeeyar Gurukulam

International Yoga day was celebrated on 21-06-2016 with the suggestion of Sriman. Prabhakar Rao ji, under the guidance of Principal and the help of teachers in Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampally . In this program all students did Surya Namaskarams and some students performed special asanas. Sriman Sri Krishna garu explained the importance of yoga and how by doing yoga regularly one can get peace, physical, mental and spiritual strength. Click Here For More Photos
