Naxal Bastion Revolutionary Slogans to Productive Reverberating Work!

Allampalli – Adilabad – The district of Telangana that was once a Naxal bastion, is now a home to a beautiful Gurukulam amidst its jungles. The air that was once filled with revolutionary slogans, now reverberates with hundreds of little children chanting vedic-slokas and happily studying their way to success. It was same area where the Naxalites triggered the first landmine blast in the country in 1987, killing and injuring several policemen. And yet, Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy chose to establish the Jeeyar Education Trust Gurukulam in this very dreaded area on January 26, 2004 ! The children in these schools, not only study, but also participate in state level mega events and compete equally with their peers! There is another school established by JET in Beersaipeta where free lunch is provided to the students. This is just a tip of the iceberg.Click the below link to know more about Allampalli school and two other tribal Schools established by JET. Read on to know the amazing transformation in these villages. Recently Chi. Prashant Class 5 – from Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli secured 2nd position in one of the state level competetions! Every month, and every Saturday several competitions like Essay writing, Elocution, Quizzes, Drawing competitions are conducted in our Gurukulams. Students participate with great enthusiasm. These are the drawings presented by students in the October 2017 Competitions: The participants were Kailas Class 5, Palitha Class 5 and Anjali. Besides regular studies, Allampalli Gurukulam conducts computer classes for students from 3rd class to 10th class. Sriman Meesala Perumanna a resident of Allampalli, donated a printer to the Gurukulam, through Gurukulam JETS Incharge Venkateshwara Rao, JETS Chief Coordinator Sriman Prabhakar Rao. The best part and the most inspiring fact about these kids is – the children, not only learn their regular studies but also learn how to take care of themselves, their families and their communities. They are also taught how to contribute their bit to the society. This is real education and the message by Sri Sri Sri Swamiji. Is that not amazing ?Can we inspire our kids too? And luckily for us, Sri Swamiji introduced PRAJNA – an educational wing of JET. There are several PRAJNA centers though out the world – conducted by efficient teachers trained by Sri Swamiji.
