Bore Wells Project – 2004 – 2007

For the convenience of villagers, Vikasa Tarangini (VT) dug 2 borewells in Allampally in 2004. Later in 2005-2006 2 bore wells were dug in Birsaipeta to provide water facility to the community. Wells were also expanded and electric motors were installed to draw water. In 2007-2008, 2 bore wells were established for the villagers in Katarivaripalem. 2004 onwards. expanded wells and put motor to draw water. In each area atleast 1000 families are benefiting from the borewells and wells dug by VT.
Splendid turnout on Yoga day!

Allamapally Jeeyar Gurukulam celebrated Yoga day on 16th of December.Students from 4th standard to 10th standard have all participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. Speaking of which, there Principal of the school, Shri Mahendar explained theimportance of physical and mental will being inexercising, specially in doing yoga!
‘No maaya (illusion), No mantra (chants)’ – Jeeyar Gurukulam’s Mini Science Fair!

Children of Tribal School, Jeeyar Gurukulam at Allampally organised a ‘Mini Vignana Mela’, A Mini Science Fair that was an absolute awe-inspiring presentation. 56 projects have been presented during their recent anniversary celebrations. Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami went through each presentation and involved himself as an eager child! Later, Swamiji congratulated and advised staff and teachers with modes of improving practical learning and utilising of knowledge in daily life. Take a glance at the pictures, the discipline in the kids of the rural areas shows how well the children are being groomed at all levels – physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual! A 3rd Class student presented ‘Maya ledu, Mantram ledu’ where she illustrated a magic show of a person’s head alone being shown on the table top. 10th class student Priyanka presented a ‘Vacuum cleaner’ demonstrating the concept of suction. A 9th class student conducted blood tests and showed the laboratory work. Primary class students demonstrated ‘Compound Words’. A couple of alumni students, Nagamani and Gangajala have contributed their first month’s salary towards equipping the school’s laboratory. Jeeyar Gurukulam Celebrates 10th Grade Farewell

Jeeyar Gurukulam 9th Grade Students did farewell to 10th grade students on March 3rd and 4th.Students and teachers have wished the aspiring students, who are going to other places for further studies, a very best wishes for future endavours. Speaking in the farewell,10th students have thanked the teachers and shared the school memories with every one. 75 years of Bharath’s Independence celebrated at Jeeyar Gurukulam

With the divine blessings of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, “AJADI KA AMRUTH MAHOTHSAV”, THE 76th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS OF BHARATH, celebrated in a grand manner at JEEYAR GURUKUALAM, ALLAMPALLI. IFS Officer Smn. ANUJ AGARWAL from Forest Dept. hoisted the flag. National Anthem was sung by all, saluting the flag. On this auspicious occasion Jeeyar Gurukulam students presented wonderful pyramids was a special attraction followed by few cultural events. Chief Guest Smn. Anuj Agarwal gave an inspiring speech to the students and gathering as well. He was impressed very much of the school and students and encouraged few talented students while presenting shields on this occasion. JET(S) President Smn. S. Prabhakar Rao, honored the Chief Guest Smn. Anuj Agarwal(IFS). Whole forest department of Udumpur Region almost 40 people has participated was also a another special attraction. Surpanchs, Upasarpanchs of both Gram Panchayaths, All Naayaks of surrounding thandas, parents and villagers participated in the celebrations.Chief Guest and other dignitaries planted few plants in Jeeyar Gurukulam campus. Jeeyar Gurukulam student stands 2nd in state

It is a proud and precious moment for VikasaTarangini to announce thatMs. Siliveri Soujanya got state 2nd rank in intermediate 1st year in entire Telangana. We thank all our supporters and volunteers for encouraging students like Soujanya to have a bright future. With Your support in the past Kumari M. Uma Bharathi was selected to prestigious IISER –Indian Institute of Science Education and research at Tirupati. Students are achieving medals in state level athletics. Many are now working as English teachers in govt schools. Miracles do happen when everyone come together for a cause.
Nirmal District Collector Visit to Allampalli tribal school

On March 2nd Nirmal district Collector Mr. Musharraf Faruqui, the Khanapur MLA Ms. Ajmeera Rekha Naik, joint collector Mr. Bhaskar Rao, RDO, and other public officials visited School for Tribal children (Jeeyar Gurukulam) in Allampalli. On behalf of the school, Jeeyar Gurukulam President Sriman Prabhakar Rao Garu has extended a warm welcome to the Govt officials. During the speech, Collector Sriman Musharraf Faruqui Garu appreciated the Vision of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji for establishing the tribal school in these remote forest areas. Learning the accomplishments of the students of Jeeyar Gurukulam serving in various areas as Agricultural officers, Scientist, Teachers, Army men, etc, Sriman Musharraf Garu and MLA were pleased and appreciated the student Alumni. They have encouraged every student to excel in academics and extracurricular activities. The school students performed Yoga and other art activities on this occasion for the visiting dignitaries. Per the Gurukulam records, so far 11 batches graduated from the tribal school and more than 12,000 families were benefited from Jeeyar Gurukulam. President Sriman Prabhakar Garu requested the Govt officials to provide roads from Beersaipet to a stretch of 11Km which would connect to another tribal school run by our organization. This would not only help the student’s transportation but also the locals with health needs and pregnant ladies to travel smoothly and reach their destination in time. Jeeyar Gurukulam is run and funded by the VTSeva organization and volunteers throughout the world who are committed to the welfare and education of children from underprivileged tribal communities. We work round the clock with our supporters, government authorities, and public officials to provide the best education and facilities to the children. Many VTSeva young volunteers visit tribal schools during their summer break and share their valuable experiences.
