Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated at Allampalli and Beersaipet Schools

In September 2018, Chi. Jyothi, 10th Class, from Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli was selected for Zonal Level Yoga Competitions. She is now eligible for State Level Yoga Competition. It is indeed a great achievement. Jeeyar Gurukulam is a school for tribals, situated in the remote forests of Allampalli. Actually, two Jeeyar Gurukulams were established in the remote forests of Adilabad District, Telangana β one in Allampalli and another in Beersaipeta to provide good education to these kids, so they are in the main stream of the society! Teachersβ Day Celebrated at Jeeyar Gurukulam Beersaipet
Teachersβ Day was celebrated at Jeeyar Gurukulam with the divine blessings of HH Swamiji. It was both amusing and interesting to watch older students acting as teachers and teaching lessons to the younger students. Indiaβs best teacher, our honorable ex Prime Minister of India Smn. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnanβs Birth Day is celebrated as Teacherβs Day every year on Sep 5th. It was an awesome experience to all the student-teachers. Best student-teacher awards were given to students and all the other school teachers were duly honored at Jeeyar Gurukulam β Beersaipet. Jeeyar Gurukulam Head Master Smn. Inter School Sports Meet @ jeeyar Gurukulams β Allampalli and Beersaipet

In September 2018, an Inter School Sports meet was conducted at Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli between Beersaipeta Jeeyar Gurukulam and Allampalli Jeeyar Gurukulam High School Students. Srimathi Madhavi Donepudi, VT Seva organizer from USA β Boston Chapter came along with 10 High School NRI Students from different states of the USA β 4 girls (Karuna, Medhana, Shriya, Amrutha) and 6 Boys (Akhil, Ananthan, Nikhil, Mahesh, Advaith, Adithya). The NRI kids participated and played with Jeeyar Gurukulam students with great enthusiasm, excitement and team-spirit. They played Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Cricket. All the teachers of Jeeyar Gurukulam conducted the games very well under the direction and guidance of Santharam Swami. Click Here For More Photos
West meets East

On July 25 2018, a few VT Seva volunteers from Atlanta USA, visited Jeeyar Gurukulam Beersaipeta. Kousthubh, Pavan, Swadesh, Aiswarya, Anvi, Nidhi, Sriya. Dhupati, Sriya. Sriperumbudur and Sanjana came along with Smt. Sandhya Yellapragada, Antlanta VT SEVA Coordinator. They spent some good time with the students. They interacted with the students and saw them work diligently and creatively. They were very appreciative and were amazed with the performance of the students, teachers and the staff. They said βReally HH Swamiji did a great job constructing a wonderful school here, which is far away from the main stream and in the middle of a deep forest. We feel very lucky to visit and spend a nice time with these wonderful tribal children. They are an inspiration for all of us. They surprised us with their discipline and wonderful talents. World Yoga Day at jeeyar Gurukulams β Allampalli and Beersaipet

By the divine blessings of HH Swamiji, the World Yoga Day event was celebrated on June 21 in a very grand manner at Jeeyar Gurukulams, β Allampalli and Beersaipet. These schools are located in remote, deep forests in Nirmal District, Telangana State. The students demonstrated Yogasanas excellently with amazing flexibility. A few students spoke about the importance of Yoga. Smn. Thiruvengalachary Swami and Smn. Santharam Swami spoke a few words about the greatness of Yoga. Jeeyar Gurukulam HMsβ Smn. Chakradhar, Smn. Kids from Allampally and Beersaipet Get the Taste of Artificial Intelligence

Many kids belonging to regions of Allampally are seeing sunny days in their lives as there are a lot of persuation from the school teachers to get back to school. The parents are counselled to send their kids to school citing all the great fun and knowledge that their wards could part with. The teachers are now seeing an 80% attendance rate, which is truly a great figure. Recently a donor from Tampa,Florida, Sriman Abhilash and his 11 year old son Archishman visited the Allampally School on 17th of June and stayed till 19th of June. Their visit brought a great cheer to the students because, with them came along a Robot. Many kids showed great interest in understanding what it is and were eager to lay their hands on it. The Robo walked the halls of the classroom. Master. Archishman talked about the sensors the Robo is equipped with and the uses of it. This pique can take them a long way, keeping in mind that the days ahead will involve AI in every walk of life. It was truly time well spent for everybody with eternal inspiration and blessings from Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami.
