Occupation: Chef
Place: Hyderabad
I am a student of Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli and passed out in 2017. I completed graduation in BMS (Hotel Management) and currently working as Chef at Celebrity Resorts, Hyderabad. Recently, I am offered for internship from Caeneros Resort and Spa at Napa, California and will be moving to US before the joining date i.e., Aug 21, 2023.
I come from a farming background and my father expired when I was 5. Jeeyar Gurukulam played an important role in our lives through education and food while the situation at home to have food and basic living was very hard. I believe that I got in to right school at the right time. Else, things would have been different if it was from a Govt school, and the credit must go to Swamiji and the staff who played an important role in my life.
I am 22 now and able to save 30-40 thousand rupees monthly. I am financially in a better position and supporting my mother. I can’t think of those days where we lived in a wooden house which we rebuilt recently. My goal is become an Executive Chef in a Five Start Hotel and lead a Kitchen department and set myself as an example in the society.
Today Alampalli Thanda exists today because of Jeeyar Gurukulam only. Else there was a proposal to move people away from Allampalli as this comes under Reserve Forest and they withdrew the proposal due to the reason that Jeeyar Gurukulam is providing Education to the children in this Forest.
Ever indebted to Swamji for His Blessings on me and my family.
Jai Srimannarayana.
Occupation: Service Center (Two Wheelers)
Place: Velgatoor, Jagityal Dist, Telangana
I am a student of Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli passed out in the year 2018. I completed 12th Standard and ventured into business after lockdown during COVID-19. I manage Two-Wheeler Service Center located at Velgatoor.
I come from a farming background and have 3 siblings. All four of us are students of Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli with younger brother currently in 10th standard. He will also pursue 11th standard at our college started by our Swamiji at Allampalli. Considering we are four of us to my father, it would have been financially impossible to go to school if there was no Jeeyar Gurukulam at Allampalli. Today, I am financially independent supporting my family and taking care of my younger sister studying in 11th standard. I pay her college fees.
Earnings in business come to me in two ways. Firstly, I sell auto parts and make money and second earning comes through service/ repair. I do not touch the second source as the first source takes care of for my living and funds from second source are distributed to employees. I realized that school gave me life and I should do the same to society and it should go on. My goal is to grow business further and do a quality service to the public with integrity.
It’s a proud occasion to say I am on my own, able to support family and this is what my parents dreamt. I strongly believe that it’s all because of the blessings from Jeeyar Swamiji on our Allampally and communities around.
