On March 2nd Nirmal district Collector Mr. Musharraf Faruqui, the Khanapur MLA Ms. Ajmeera Rekha Naik, joint collector Mr. Bhaskar Rao, RDO, and other public officials visited School for Tribal children (Jeeyar Gurukulam) in Allampalli.

On behalf of the school, Jeeyar Gurukulam President Sriman Prabhakar Rao Garu has extended a warm welcome to the Govt officials.

During the speech, Collector Sriman Musharraf Faruqui Garu appreciated the Vision of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji for establishing the tribal school in these remote forest areas.

Learning the accomplishments of the students of Jeeyar Gurukulam serving in various areas as Agricultural officers, Scientist, Teachers, Army men, etc, Sriman Musharraf Garu and MLA were pleased and appreciated the student Alumni. They have encouraged every student to excel in academics and extracurricular activities.

The school students performed Yoga and other art activities on this occasion for the visiting dignitaries.

Per the Gurukulam records, so far 11 batches graduated from the tribal school and more than 12,000 families were benefited from Jeeyar Gurukulam.

President Sriman Prabhakar Garu requested the Govt officials to provide roads from Beersaipet to a stretch of 11Km which would connect to another tribal school run by our organization. This would not only help the student’s transportation but also the locals with health needs and pregnant ladies to travel smoothly and reach their destination in time.

Jeeyar Gurukulam is run and funded by the VTSeva organization and volunteers throughout the world who are committed to the welfare and education of children from underprivileged tribal communities. We work round the clock with our supporters, government authorities, and public officials to provide the best education and facilities to the children. Many VTSeva young volunteers visit tribal schools during their summer break and share their valuable experiences.
