A Story of Historic Transformation: Replacing Weapons with Pens
The triumph of these 12 young archers is not merely a sports victory. it represents a profound socio-cultural transformation.
The Allampally and Beersaipet forest belts, once recognized as vulnerable conflict zones impacted by Naxalite movements, have undergone a historic shift under the divine guidance and compassionate vision of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Driven by the noble resolution to “replace guns with pens”, Swamiji established Jeeyar Gurukulams to provide 100% free, value-based English and vernacular education, nutritious boarding, and healthcare to indigenous tribal children.
Today, nurtured by Swamiji’s love and guidance, the children of these forest hinterlands are breaking barriers, excelling in board examinations, higher studies, cultural arts, and sports at district, state, and national levels. The entire Jeeyar Gurukulam family extends its heartfelt wishes to the 12-member archery contingent as they march toward the State Championship podium in Hyderabad.
