M. Ramadevi

From Forest Trails to Sub Inspector of Police

Meet M. Ramadevi, an alumna of Jeeyar Gurukulam, whose story is a shining example of how dreams, when nurtured with courage and conviction, can rise above the odds and bloom into reality.

Ramadevi was born into a family of daily wage workers, where survival meant venturing into the dense forests with her parents to collect Mahua flowers, tree gum, and leaf plates to sell for a living.

At the age of 9, a ray of hope entered her life when Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji established a school in the remote area. Rama was among the fortunate few to be enrolled. Her sharp mind and quick learning abilities earned her a promotion to 5th class. Fueled by a dream to become a police officer, she pursued her education with unwavering focus, completing her 10th class with distinction.

Life, however, had other plans. Her parents arranged her marriage to a relative in a nearby village, and soon after, she became a mother. While balancing her responsibilities as a young mother, Rama never let go of the dream she once shared with her teachers. In 2023, when the Telangana Police Department announced vacancies for Sub-Inspector roles, she saw her chance.

With relentless dedication, Rama prepared for the exams while caring for her child, and triumphed. She cleared the exam, completed her training, and today, she proudly serves as a Sub-Inspector at Dichpalli Mandal in Nizamabad.

Rama’s story is not just a tale of success, it’s a beacon of inspiration for every child who dares to dream, and every woman who believes in her strength. It’s a reminder that poverty is not a limitation, but a platform from which greatness can rise.

From Wooden Walls to a Proud Chef at Celebrity Resorts

I come from a farming background. When I was 5 years old, I lost my father, and life became incredibly difficult for my family. We lived in a small wooden house, struggling to meet our basic needs and a proper meal felt like a luxury.

Then came Jeeyar Gurukulam, a turning point that changed everything. The school gave me a sense of belonging during the hardest phase of my life. I truly believe that I got into the right school at the right time, else, my story would have been different.

I went on to complete my graduation in BMS (Hotel Management) and today, I work as a Chef at Celebrity Resorts, Hyderabad. I’m proud to say that I now save money and support my family, and we recently rebuilt the house we once struggled to live in.

My dream is to become an Executive Chef in a Five-Star Hotel, lead a kitchen team, and set an example for others who come from difficult circumstances like mine.

From Silent Struggles to Soaring Dreams – A Mother’s Wish Fulfilled by Jeeyar Gurukulam

The words of a Mother P. Anasuya Transformed by Hope

I come from a remote village and during my childhood, education for girls was unthinkable. We were told that women belonged at home. I was married at a young age, without even understanding the world beyond our fields and farms. My dream of learning was buried beneath responsibilities I never chose.

But I had a hope that my children should not live the same life I did. When Jeeyar Gurukulam came to our village, it felt like a divine answer to my prayers. The school became a ray of hope in our forest-bound world, lighting the path that I had never been allowed to walk, but which my children now could.

Today, my elder daughter, Prasanna, is pursuing LLB and on the path to becoming a Lawyer. My younger daughter, Vaishnavi, is studying MBBS after her intermediate. All of this was made possible by the support and education given by Jeeyar Gurukulam.

The school didn’t just educate my children, it fulfilled a dream that I had carried silently for years.
We are deeply grateful and will forever hold Jeeyar Gurukulam close to our hearts for transforming our family’s future.

A Journey of Hope – How Jeeyar Gurukulam Fulfilled a Mother’s Wish

I was born in a distant village where educating girls was rarely even considered. From a young age, I was told a woman’s role was only within the home. I got married early, with little understanding of life beyond our small fields and simple ways. My desire to learn was overshadowed by duties I never chose.

Still, I dreamed that my children would have a different future. When Jeeyar Gurukulam opened its doors in our village, it felt like an answer to my prayers. The school brought light to our remote world, showing a path I was never allowed to follow but one my children could now walk.

Now, my daughter Vaishnavi is pursuing her MBBS studies after completing intermediate and is well on her way to becoming a doctor. This opportunity came because of the education and support provided by Jeeyar Gurukulam.

Jeeyar Gurukulam didn’t just teach my daughter—it realized a hope I quietly held for many years. We are forever thankful and will always cherish the school for transforming our family’s destiny.

From the Fields of Struggle to the Halls of NIT – A Journey Born at Jeeyar Gurukulam

I lost my father when I was very young. My mother worked for daily wages just to keep us afloat, I considered dropping out to help her. But the compassionate encouragement from my teachers and principal at Jeeyar Gurukulam, Beersaipet, changed everything.

The school not only provided me education, but it also nurtured me with slokas, yoga, discipline, and wisdom, building in me a mindset to rise above my circumstances. Without this school, I might have ended up for daily wages or shepherd. Instead, I completed my intermediate education, cracked the JEE exam, and secured a free seat at NIT Aurangabad, a prestigious and premier institute in the country.

A Daughter of Farmer, Now Uplifts Farmers as “Agricultural Extension Officer”

Education was once a distant dream at our village. Most children spent their childhood grazing cattle or helping in the fields, unaware of the world that lay beyond.

When Jeeyar Gurukulam was established, I joined the school and completed my 10th class with a first-class grade, a milestone my family once thought impossible.

At Jeeyar Gurukulam, I didn’t just receive an education. I was shaped into a person of character, confidence, and compassion. The values of discipline, hard work, and service to others were deeply rooted in us , and they became the guiding force of my life.

Today, I proudly serve as an Agricultural Extension Officer in Pembi village, helping farmers like my own parents improve their livelihoods, adopt modern methods, and live with dignity. The very fields that once symbolized limitation have now become grounds for change.

A Daughter of Birsaipet, returns to Teach at the School That Raised Her

I come from a modest family in Birsaipet. My father is a farmer, and my mother used to roll tobacco at home to support us. I studied from 1st to 10th class at Jeeyar Gurukulam. The education I received gave me confidence, direction, and purpose. With the guidance of our teachers and the values instilled through slokas and discipline, I completed my 10th class with 8.7 GPA.

Driven by a passion for learning and teaching, I pursued my intermediate in nearby town, Utnoor and I appeared for the DEE-CET entrance exam, secured a free seat with a rank of 137, and completed my D. Ed. from DIET College, Adilabad. I later qualified TET and followed my dream, to become a teacher.

Today, I feel immense joy and gratitude to have returned to the same school where I once studied, now as a Telugu teacher. I consider it a rare fortune to serve at Jeeyar Gurukulam, and be a part of Swamiji’s mission to educate and empower lives.

It fills me with pride to see how the school has grown, English medium education, computer lab, a mineral water plant, nutritious meal, yoga, and culture. I am especially happy to organize cultural activities and guide children who remind me so much of myself. Jeeyar Gurukulam gave me the wings to fly, and now, I help others find theirs.

When life gave me struggles, Jeeyar Gurukulam gave me strength. Today, I stand tall as an engineer, carrying the dreams of my village.

I completed my 10th class at Jeeyar Gurukulam – Allampally with a first-class grade. My parents worked as daily wage workers, and I lost my father at a very young age. My mother, with immense courage, raised me amidst hardships.

In our village, children often spent their days herding cattle or working in fields, with little hope for education. But in 2004, everything changed. Jeeyar Gurukulam was established, and with it came the light of learning, opportunity, and moral values that reshaped our lives.

Fueled by the school’s vision and values, I studied hard and eventually secured a prestigious government job as a civil engineer at Singareni, one of the country’s premier coal mining companies. This achievement is not just mine; it belongs to my mother and Jeeyar Gurukulam, which transformed my life and the lives of countless children like me.

From Survival to Self-Reliance – A Mother’s Gratitude for the School That Changed Her Sons’ Lives

Words from the mother of Vijay – I am M. Laxmi, a mother of two sons whose lives have been beautifully shaped by Jeeyar Gurukulam in Birsaipet. My elder son, M. Jaipal, studied at the school and has now established his own business. He is financially independent and supports our family with pride. My younger son, M. Vijay, also studied here, where he not only gained an education but also developed computer skills. Today, he successfully runs his own business.

Without Jeeyar Gurukulam, we would have had to send our children to Utnoor, spending large sums on bus fares and facing numerous difficulties. But because this school was built in our village, our family was spared those hardships and instead, given a path to self-reliance and dignity.

We will remain forever thankful to Jeeyar Gurukulam for empowering our children. and through them, uplifting our entire family.

From Student to Teacher – A Journey Rooted in Gratitude and Guided by Service

I come from a farming family and studied at Jeeyar Gurukulam, Birsaipet. It was at this school that my life truly began to take shape, not just in academics, but in values, discipline, and character.

Alongside my studies, I learned slokas, culture, and wisdom, which helped me grow as a person. Thanks to the dedicated teachers, I scored 9.2 GPA in my 10th class. Their kind words and encouragement left a deep impression on me, shaping the way I think and behave.

With that inspiration, I went on to secure a free seat at Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic College in Adilabad, where I continued to perform well. However, financial constraints prevented me from pursuing a higher degree, so I began looking for a job instead.

At that critical moment, my Head Master gave me an incredible opportunity, to come and serve Jeeyar Gurukulam, this time as a teacher. Today, I teach with the same spirit of service that Gurukulam embodies and instilled in me. It’s not just a school… it’s a place where lives are transformed.

From a Classroom to Civil Services Aspirations – A Journey Fueled by Education and a Heart to Serve

I am from Babanayak Thanda, a small agricultural village where access to quality education once felt like a distant dream. My parents, who work hard in the fields, couldn’t have imagined affording the kind of education that would change the course of my life.

But everything changed when I joined Jeeyar Gurukulam – Allampally and completed my 10th class, securing a first-class grade. The school didn’t just teach me lessons from textbooks, it taught me the value of discipline, determination, and dreaming big.

With the foundation laid at Jeeyar Gurukulam, I moved to Hyderabad and pursued my B. Tech, a milestone I once thought unreachable. Today, I’m preparing for government job exams, aiming to serve the nation as a civil servant, a goal born from the inspiration and guidance I received at this very school.

I carry forward the values I learned at Jeeyar Gurukulam with deep gratitude in my heart. This school gave me more than just an education, it gave me purpose, hope, and a future.

Empowered by Education, I Shifted Gears to Independence with My Own Automobile Shop

I run a Two-Wheeler Service Center in Velgatoor. I come from a farming family with three siblings. All four of us studied at Jeeyar Gurukulam, Allampalli, and my youngest brother is currently in 10th standard. With four children to support, it would have been financially unmanageable for my father without Jeeyar Gurukulam. Today, I am financially independent, support my family, and pay the college fees of my younger sister, who is in 11th standard.

My business earns in two ways: through auto parts sales and repair services. I rely on the income from parts sales for my living and allocate the repair earnings to my employees. My goal is to expand the business and provide quality service to the public.
